Cumbia coffee originates from El Cerrito, near the sacred Nabusimake region in the northeastern Sierra Nevada – a place known as ‘the land where the sun rises’ in the native IKU language. The coffee is cultivated by The Arhuaco people, an indigenous community with a deep respect for Mother Nature as their guiding force. They cultivate the land with great care, producing exceptional crops including their prized speciality coffee.
